Job Summary

As a Senior MOT Technician at Croxdale Group in Durham, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all MOTs and tyre fittings, alongside maintenance work, are executed to impeccable standards across a diverse range of models. Collaborative and driven, you will work alongside a team dedicated to creating the ultimate shopping experience for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Conduct MOTs accurately and skillfully, ensuring adherence to required standards and completion of administrative processes.
• - Provide oversight of the MOT juice standards system.
• - Document detailed reports of each vehicle, including identified defects or failures, and effectively communicate results to customers or the Service team.
• - Assess vehicles against specific criteria such as structural integrity, emission levels, lighting, brakes, steering, suspension, and other safety-related components.
• - Follow standardized test procedures to carry out MOT tests accurately and efficiently.
• - Report and document all additional work required on both systems and job cards.
• - Clearly explain technical repair requirements to customers using accessible language.
• - Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with Company, Brand, and industry guidelines.

Qualifications:

• - Previous experience as a qualified nominated MOT tester, accredited by the DVSA, is essential.
• - Brand accreditation is beneficial but not essential, as brand training will be provided.
• - Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• - Enthusiastic and optimistic attitude, taking ownership of actions and decisions.
• - Methodical approach to problem-solving with clear communication skills.
• - Valid driving license free from excessive penalties is essential.
