Croxdale Group, one of Durham's longest-standing family-owned car dealerships, has announced a new two-year partnership with Durham County Cricket, reinforcing its commitment to community and sport across the North East.
Durham Cricket are also celebrating the deal, officially welcoming Croxdale Group as a partner until the end of the 2026 season. As a well-known name across County Durham, Croxdale’s involvement marks another strong tie between local businesses and grassroots cricket.
The sponsorship includes branding positioned throughout the Banks Homes Riverside ground in Chester-le-Street. In addition to visibility at matchdays, Croxdale will support the club’s flagship events including its annual race day, corporate shoot day, and golf day, increasing its presence both on and off the field.
Established in 1967, Croxdale Group is a multi-franchise car dealership and vehicle servicing centre based in County Durham. Official representatives of Citroën, DS Automobiles, MG, Jeep, Alfa Romeo, and Leapmotor, offering over 200 approved used vehicles on-site at any time.

In a sign of the growing collaboration, Croxdale has also offered a vehicle to New Zealand international cricketer Jimmy Neesham, who joins Durham for the 2025 Vitality Blast campaign. A seasoned middle-order batter with 83 T20 appearances for New Zealand, Neesham is known for his aggressive stroke play and formidable strike rate.
