Supporting Our Team, Our Community, and the People Behind the Wheel

At Croxdale Motor Group, supporting our community goes far beyond servicing vehicles, it's about showing up for the people and causes that mean something to our team and customers.

In 2024, we were proud to support Butterwick Hospice, and earlier this year we invited both our team and our wider community to help us choose the causes we would stand behind in 2025. The response was heartfelt, and two causes emerged that hold personal significance for many across Croxdale.

Dementia UK

Dementia UK provides life-changing support for families affected by all forms of dementia, through its specialist Admiral Nurses. These nurses offer practical advice, emotional support, and expert guidance to help families cope with the challenges of dementia, from a diagnosis to advanced care needs. For many of us at Croxdale, including Melissa in our Vehicle admin team, dementia is not just a word, it’s a reality that touches our lives. That’s why we’re proud to support Dementia UK this year, helping fund more of the vital care families need and deserve.

Motor Neurone Disease Association (MND Association)

The MND Association supports people living with motor neurone disease, a devastating neurological condition that affects the brain and nerves, causing progressive muscle weakness. There is currently no cure, but with the right care, information, and research funding, people with MND can live with greater dignity and hope. This cause is close to the heart of our marketing team, and by backing the MND Association, we’re helping ensure more families across the UK get the support they need, today and in the future.

A New Year, A Fitter Team, A Shared Purpose

This year, we’re setting up the Croxdale Fundraising Team Pages a space where staff will take on small challenges throughout the year, combining fitness, fun, and fundraising.

To kick things off, the team completed their first trial hike on Sunday 3rd August, tackling the iconic Roseberry Topping to gauge commitment and set the pace for what’s to come. Safe to say – We’re in!

From charity walks to bake sales, we’ll be doing what we can to raise money, stay active, and bring some positivity to the year ahead.

We’re Still Supporting other causes too.

While we focus our fundraising efforts on Dementia UK and the MND Association this year, we’ll still be getting involved in:

Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked directly to the particular franchise you are purchasing your vehicle from, who are usually able to offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions. If they are unable to make you an offer of finance, we then seek to introduce you to whichever

of the other lenders on our panel is able to make the next best offer of finance for you. Our aim is to secure the best deal you are eligible for from our panel of lenders.
Lenders will pay a fixed commission to us for introducing you to them, calculated by reference to the vehicle model or amount you borrow. Different lenders may pay different commissions for such introductions, and manufacturer lenders linked directly to the franchises that we represent may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing.
But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed.
