Croxdale Group Donates Over £14,000 for local charities

Expanding Support in 2025

At Croxdale Group Durham, community spirit is at the heart of everything we do. After a successful year of giving in 2024, we are excited to build on our efforts and support even more great causes in 2025. In 2024, Croxdale Group Durham donated over £14,000 to local charities and gifted a van to Butterwick Hospice. Now, we’re looking for more charities and organisations to support in 2025, ensuring we can continue making a meaningful difference in our community.

We aim to provide meaningful support to initiatives that make a difference to the lives of people in our communities. We’re pleased to say that 2024 was a good year forCroxdale, despite challenging trading conditions, and we’re keen to share our good fortune with others.

Reflecting on 2024

Last year, we supported a wide range of charities at various events, giving £4,000. In addition, our charity golf day for Butterwick Hospice, which took place at Ramside Hall in Durham, raised more than £10,000 for Butterwick, and the van we donated to the charity, which has been supporting people across Teesside and County Durham for more than 40 years, has proved to be invaluable.

The fun day out on the Cathedral Course brought together a total of 16 teams for a day of friendly competition and vital fundraising. The event was hailed a great success by everyone involved, particularly as it costs more than £7,000 per day to deliver the Hospice’s many services, providing holistic care for children and adults living with a life-limiting illness.

Feedback received from the charity demonstrates the van donated by Croxdale is helping the fundraising team at the Hospice dramatically.

If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed.
