If you receive a qualifying mobility allowance, you’re entitled to lease a car through the Motability Scheme.

The ability to nominate up to three named drivers if you can’t or don’t wish to drive
Extra support if you choose an electric car (an E-TENSE DS model, for instance), including arranging for – and covering the standard cost of – home charge-point installation

Am I eligible for DS Motability?

As long as you are in receipt of one of the following allowances, and there’s a minimum award length of 12 months remaining, you’ll qualify for DS Motability:

Higher rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement, all of which are set by the lender concerned. If you ask us what the amount of commission is, we will tell you in good time before the Finance agreement is executed.
