What is Motability? Learning about the Motability Scheme The Motability Scheme is designed to help drivers with a disability and their families or carers to retain their independence and mobility. Simply exchange all or part of a qualifying mobility allowance for a brand new Citroën, which you lease over a three-year term (or five years for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles). All your running costs, including insurance, servicing and breakdown cover are included.
Am I eligible? If you receive one of the below mobility allowances, you may be able to take part in the scheme: - Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance (HRMC DLA)
- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (ERMC PIP)
- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
