Name the Chery Panda Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter: The promoter of this competition is Chery Durham, part of Croxdale Group, based at Croxdale, Durham.

2. Competition period: The Name the Chery Panda competition will run during Wolsingham Show 2026 on 5th and 6th September 2026. Entries must be submitted during the show weekend while the Chery Durham stand is open.

3. Eligibility: The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Children may suggest a panda name, but the entry form must be completed by an adult aged 18 or over. Employees of Croxdale Group, their immediate family members, agencies or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

4. How to enter: To enter, visitors must submit a suggested name for the Chery Panda using the official competition form or entry method provided at the Chery Durham stand. Only one entry per person will be accepted. No purchase is necessary.

5. Prize:  There are 20 Chery Summer Survival Packs available to be won across the Wolsingham Show weekend. Croxdale Group intends to allocate 10 prizes on Saturday 5th September and 10 prizes on Sunday 6th September, subject to entry volumes and operational requirements. Prizes are subject to availability and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative prize.

6. Winner selection: Winners will be selected from eligible entries received during the competition period. The winning entries may be selected by random draw or by Croxdale Group’s chosen judging process. The promoter’s decision is final. Winners will be contacted using the details provided on the entry form. If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, Croxdale Group reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Panda name suggestions: By entering the competition, participants agree that Croxdale Group and Chery Durham may use submitted panda name suggestions for marketing, social media and promotional purposes without further payment or permission. Submitting a name does not guarantee that the name will be used as the final panda name. Entries must not include offensive, inappropriate, defamatory or unlawful content. Croxdale Group reserves the right to remove or exclude any entry it considers unsuitable.

8. Personal data: Personal data provided as part of the competition will be used to administer the competition and contact winners. Where entrants opt in to marketing communications, Croxdale Group and Chery Durham may also contact them about relevant news, offers, events and services. Personal data will be handled in line with Croxdale Group’s privacy policy.

9. General Croxdale Group reserves the right to amend, withdraw or cancel the competition if circumstances outside its control make this necessary. By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
