What happens if I want to sell my car and haven't used the services?

If you sell your car before your plan ends, don’t worry, your Croxdale Service Plan is linked to the vehicle, not just you.

  • The plan can be transferred to the new owner at no extra cost, giving them the benefit of any remaining services.
  • Alternatively, you can cancel the plan. We’ll refund any remaining balance after deducting the value of any services already carried out.

Simply let our service team know before the sale so we can update the plan details and explain your options clearly.

What happens if I don't use my services?

If you don’t use your services during the plan period, they don’t roll over or extend beyond the end date of your Croxdale Service Plan.

  • The plan is designed around the manufacturer’s service schedule, so services must be taken at the recommended time or mileage interval.
  • If your plan reaches the end of its term and any scheduled services haven’t been used, no refund will apply unless you cancel the plan in line with our Terms & Conditions.

Can I buy a Service plan for my friends or family?

Yes, you can purchase a Croxdale Service Plan on behalf of a friend or family member, provided the plan is registered to their vehicle.

  • The plan will be set up in the vehicle owner’s name and linked to that specific car’s registration number.
  • All communication and service reminders will go directly to the registered customer, ensuring they receive the full benefits of the plan.

Is my Service Plan refundable?

Yes, your Croxdale Service Plan can be refunded under certain conditions.

  • You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the start date of your plan to cancel for a full refund, provided no services have been taken.
  • After 14 days, you can still cancel at any time. We’ll calculate a pro-rata refund based on the payments you’ve made minus the value of any services already completed.
  • If the value of services carried out is higher than what you’ve paid, you’ll need to cover the difference before cancellation can be finalised.

Tip: If you’re changing your car, speak to our team first, you may be able to transfer your balance to a new vehicle and keep your plan running.

I have a used car; can I still buy a Service Plan?

Can I cover my Electric Vehicle?

Yes, Croxdale Service Plans are available for fully electric (BEV) vehicles as well as hybrid and petrol models.

  • Our electric vehicle plans are specially priced to reflect the lower servicing requirements of EVs.
  • They cover all manufacturer-scheduled maintenance such as cabin filters, brake inspections, fluid checks and software updates.
  • All work is completed by Croxdale’s EV-trained technicians using approved parts and equipment.

Tip: Regular servicing is still important for electric cars, it helps maintain your battery warranty, safety systems and long-term performance.

What about my MOT?

Your Croxdale Service Plan does not include an MOT as standard, but you can easily add it as an optional extra when setting up your plan.
