Interim Service vs. Full Service vs. Major Service

An Interim Service is a mid-interval check designed to keep your vehicle running smoothly between full services. Usually recommended every 6 months or after a set mileage, it covers key basics such as oil changes, fluid levels, tire condition, and brake checks. This service helps maintain your car’s performance, improves safety, and can catch minor issues before they develop into costly repairs.

A Full Service is a comprehensive annual check-up that keeps your vehicle in top condition. Typically carried out once a year or after a set mileage, it includes a wide range of checks and maintenance tasks—from oil and filter changes to inspecting brakes, tires, lights, and more. Designed to ensure your car runs efficiently and reliably, a Full Service helps prevent minor issues from becoming costly repairs down the line.

A major service is a more thorough, in-depth check that occurs every 30,000 to 60,000 miles (or as recommended). It covers everything in an annual service plus additional tasks like replacing the timing belt, spark plugs, and air filters. This service helps tackle more significant wear-and-tear issues, ensuring your car remains reliable long-term.
