On 21st September 2025, Alfa Romeo Durham proudly hosted the starting point of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club (AROC) annual Treasure Trail. This much-loved event brought together Alfa Romeo drivers from across the North East, celebrating the brand’s rich heritage, sense of adventure, and loyal community spirit.
The day began at our Alfa Romeo Durham, Croxdale showroom with a welcoming breakfast, setting the tone for a day of camaraderie and discovery. As part of our support, Alfa Romeo Durham also donated the £100 shopping voucher prize for the winning team, a token of appreciation for the passion and commitment the AROC community continues to show.
The AROC Treasure Trail is no ordinary drive. Teams of car and navigator take part in a point-to-point route, following carefully designed clues that lead them across the region. This year’s route saw plenty of excitement, with one clue even encouraging competitors to brave stepping stones across the river to uncover the answer.
The day concluded in great style at the King’s Head Pub, where members gathered to share stories, enjoy refreshments, and celebrate the winning teams.
“Our annual treasure trail went really well, with everybody enthusing about the route. Three competitors did actually risk life and limb to get the stepping stone clue (from the other side of the river!).”
